Мета:

1)  Перевірити рівень мовної та мовленнєвої компетенції учнів за темою.

2)  Навчати учнів аудіювання.

3)  Продовжувати розвивати комунікативні здібності учнів.

4)  Виховувати уміння працювати в команді.

5)  Продовжувати розвивати мислення.

Обладнання:

Папір для учасників, картки з запитаннями, картки для оцінювання, малюнки, секундомір, заохочувальні призи.

Teacher: Dear friends! Today we have an unusual lesson, a competition “What do you know about sports?” There are two teams at the lesson. They’ll show us their knowledge of sports. We’ll speak about different kinds of sports, sportsmen and the Olympic Games, show them in the pictures, and learn about some interesting facts of sports. First of all let’s introduce our teams to each other. What are the names of your teams? (The students introduce their teams).

Let’s start our lesson with the “key facts”. Answer some questions about sports.
